The idea
A kaomoji site should do more than place thousands of unlabelled faces on one page. The useful work is organization: clear categories, natural search terms, reliable one-click copying, and tools that help someone make a result of their own.
What we prioritize
- Kaomoji first. Text art supports the library instead of turning it into an unrelated tool directory.
- Quality over page count. We publish meaningful categories and collections, not one thin page for every character sequence.
- Private by default. Favorites and recent copies stay in your browser. Image conversion happens on your device.
- Fast, resilient pages. Most content is static HTML; JavaScript is reserved for interactions that need it.
- Plain text remains useful. Results are copyable, editable, and not locked into a proprietary format.
No account required
The site has no user login and no account database. This keeps a quick task quick. The tradeoff is that browser-saved favorites do not automatically sync between devices.
Editorial approach
Names, tags, examples, collections, and guides are written and reviewed for this site. Generated combinations are not automatically added to the public library. New public entries should be readable, distinct, and useful in a real message.
