What does the Unicode Text Checker test?
It counts Unicode code points, lines, UTF-8 bytes, and the longest line. It also flags decorative mathematical letters, combining marks, emoji sequences, private-use characters, hidden controls, and layout-sensitive text.
Does a pass mean my text works in every app?
No. Apps set their own character limits, filters, fonts, and username rules. A pass means the checker found no obvious issue in the text itself, not that every platform will accept it.
Why can fancy Unicode text look different on another device?
Unicode stores the character, while the operating system and font draw its glyph. Missing font coverage, emoji artwork, spacing, and fallback fonts can change the appearance.
Why does text art break on mobile?
Narrow screens can wrap long lines, and proportional fonts give characters different widths. Tabs, trailing spaces, emoji, combining marks, and full-width symbols can also shift alignment.
Are Unicode characters and grapheme clusters the same?
Not always. This checker labels its main count as Unicode code points. A visible emoji or accented glyph can contain several code points joined into one grapheme cluster.
Is my text uploaded for analysis?
